Press Statement of HE Ahmad bin Shafar, CEO of Empower, on UAE Martyr's Day

Dubai, UAE, November 29, 2016:  On the occasion of UAE Martyr's Day, on behalf of the entire Empower team, we ask God to have mercy on our martyrs’ souls.

Sacrifices of the heroes from the armed forces raise the importance of national unity, as well as our pride and loyalty to the nation. On Martyr’s Day, we commemorate the sacrifices made by our soldiers, which is a matter of great pride to every UAE national.

Homelands are built by its men, forces and principles. Sacrifices of the heroes of the armed forces have wrote the history of our great country and we should be proud and pass this pride to our children and grandchildren and future generations of this beloved country that is so close to our hearts.

They wrote with their blood the honorable history of their homeland, and we stand on this glorious day to remember the sacrifices of our martyrs in the pages of history and gratitude for what they gave to the homeland.

We take this occasion to pay tributes to the martyrs and wishes to our wise leadership. We set our sights higher, as we carry out the tasks and responsibilities on the road to progress.

This observation is an opportunity to consolidate the values of loyalty and belonging to this country that is so precious to all those who live here.
