Dubai, UAE, August 22, 2016: For Fall/Winter 2016, Madrid-based designer Dina Khalife draws inspiration from everyday objects in a woman’s closet. Bobby pins, hairdryers, combs, shoes, lipsticks, sunglasses,...etc., items we use daily to make us look pretty and glamorous. The idea is to pay tribute to these objects that might be evident but we can’t live without. Illustrations inspired by vintage ads of beauty products are transformed into colourful patterns and motifs, applied to maxi dresses, flowing kaftans and off shoulder separates.
