United Arab Emirates; April 2016 - 72 companies will be ardently defending the Made in France brand from 15 to 17 May 2016 by exhibiting their wares at the BEAUTYWORLD MIDDLE EAST's Pavillon France stand.

French cosmetics firms export more than half of their production output, generating turnover of €11.8 billion in 2015. The fact that this figure is forecast to rise by 4.4 % in 2016 is testament to the work of major groups and smaller brands alike.

This year, the French Buzz area will again be a shop window for quality and innovation, with eight new exhibitors. It will also serve to underline the sector's great vitality. Hailing from all parts of the country, these eight start-ups truly stand out from the crowd:

- Collectif M develops French-made cosmetics for retailers to sell as own-brand products. From the development of a marketing strategy to the creation of a concept, the company also provides assistance with training and sales.

- La Corvette since 1894 has developed a global reputation over the last 120 years for its fine Marseille soap. Prepared in a traditional cauldron by master soap makers, it contains only plant-based oils and no chemical additives.

- Nice-based firm Les Diamants Bleus offers a unique and exclusive range of accessories. An homage to feminine grace and the art of elegant beauty, its jeweled compact features a case and sifter with a contemporary design and is encrusted with precious and semi-precious stones and 24-carat gold.

- Ho Karan Men’s Skincare looks after male skin with its range of essential organic skincare products. Drawing from Brittany's natural wealth, the active ingredients used originate from both land and sea: hemp oil, sea lavender, honey, oyster shell powder, brown seaweed serum, etc. The design of the bottles is inspired by the Surrealist Movement (Dali, Cocteau and their contemporaries).

- SFC Fragrance Creation makes perfumes from 100% natural ingredients. Each of its unique creations is developed by master perfumers. Its catalog of fragrances is available upon request.

- Terra Continens designs ranges of products for the bath and home, created using plant-based ingredients and free of parabens, phenoxyethanol, EDTA and silicone. Enriched with the extracts of plants that are emblematic of the country or region they represent, the products evoke ancestral secrets or rituals. The recyclable bottles are sold without a box to help protect the environment.

- Végétalement Provence is France's leading producer of plant-based cosmetics for professional use. Its product line combines the benefits of plants and essential oils from the Mediterranean.

- Veracova is a brand specializing in anti-aging products for women. All its creations are at least 95% natural and exclusively made in France.
Thanks to the dynamism and maturity they demonstrate in terms of exports, all those companies at hand in the French Pavilion represent a range of resources contributing to regional economic growth in an environmentally-responsible way. As major suppliers to the cosmetics industry and to the leading beauty brands worldwide, the cutting-edge cosmetics and high-tech care sectors provide a remarkable diversity of products that are increasingly innovative, ecological and organic.
