Dubai, UAE, April 11, 2016: A number of celebrations were held to honour Alice + Olivia’s renowned Creative Director and Founder, Stacey Bendet, and the brand’s stand-alone boutiques in the Middle East – The Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates in Dubai & Villaggio Mall in Doha. March 29th, 2016 Alice and Olivia hosted a private Cocktail event at their Dubai Mall boutique, Fashion, Avenue, First Floor on behalf of Irthi Contemporary Crafts Council, part of the NAMA Women Advancement Establishment, a premium forum for women business leaders in the country. Among those participating at the event were Sheikha Shayma bint Hashr Al Maktoum, HE Ameera BinKaram, TV Presenter; Amira Al Fadhl and Stacey Bendet, the C.E.O. and founder of Alice and Olivia label. The evening soiree allowed the women attending to view and try on an exclusive kaftan, which had been designed and developed to promote and support the crafts of the MENASEA . “Female empowerment and being able to inspire women around the world to do what they love and have a career is such an important part of our mission as is making beautiful clothing.”

The festivities were held under the Arabian starry night and decorated with an New York feel. Lining the dimly lit entrance walls were well known street signs and concrete buildings that catapulted guests to the heart of an underground NY bar. Decorations such as pool tables, street lamps, bar, and a phone booth transformed the room, to give guests a taste of the city life all the while transporting media into the alluring world of Stacey Bendet. Guests of this evening included Dubai’s most prestigious and stylish influencers, bloggers, and media along with 200 of Alice + Olivia’s VIP clientele.
