Pedro Lourenço appointed Creative Director at La Perla

London – 26th January 2016. La Perla is pleased to announce the appointment of Pedro Lourenço as Creative Director. The Brazilian designer will offer his first La Perla collection for the Fall/Winter 2016 season.

Young, focused and with a fiercely contemporary sense of style, Pedro Lourenço is known for the timeless elegance and architectural precision of his creations, which are based on a sincere appreciation of traditional dressmaking. His taste for craft and modern sense of femininity are a perfect match for La Perla.

Pedro Lourenço will be responsible for the lines of lingerie, sleepwear, beachwear, loungewear, accessories, menswear as well as the Atelier collection, the most exclusive expression of the La Perla style. Lourenço will lead the company’s design team in building a global lifestyle proposition based on the Extended Intimacy concept.

Pedro Lourenço was born to fashion designer parents and launched his own label at the surprising age of 15. In March 2010, his women's ready to wear collection was presented for the first time at the Paris Fashion Week, to great reviews.
