Popular Italian fashion brand, Galvanni, continues to enrich the UAE market with its elegant and fashionable designs. The notable brand offers its discerning and educated target audience an array of Polo and marine styles for both men and women in the form of shirts, trousers, blazers, dresses, suits, accessories and shoes. New lines include underwear and beachwear as well. Galvanni was the brainchild of Alessandro Galvanni who was born in Milan to a veteran horseback rider father and a mother famous for her tailoring skills. As Galvanni’s family relocated to London, the ambitious man found work at an Earl’s stable owing to his father’s prowess in horseback riding. It was there that he developed a passion for horses and began watching games of Polo that the Earl partook in while his mother did all the tailoring jobs for the Earl’s family. At the age of 25, Galvanni completed his education in Fine Arts and took over the tailoring business from his mother, thus designing all the clothes for the family until the Earl’s demise in 1973. Galvanni is currently present in the Dubai Marina Mall and will soon be expanding to other locations within the UAE owing to a partnership with prominent Fashion Company, Etshtoo Fashion.
