Dubai, Sep 25, 2013: The Hotel & Leisure Show exhibition -- being held at Dubai's World Trade Centre from September 28-30, 2013- shall see Ilyas & Mustafa Galadari (IMG) Group showcase stunning new facets of its exciting venture including the unveiling of the IMG Worlds of Adventure (IMGWOA) landscape display model during the course of the 3 day show.

Visitors to the exhibition will be privy to a preview of the Dubai-based conglomerate's colossal project aimed at positioning Dubai and the United Arab Emirates on the global map as a themed entertainment destination capital. IMGWOA's participation at the exhibition is aimed at promoting its unique thriller-packed themed entertainment destination – set for 2014 opening – among prominent tour operators, hotels and DMCs, all of whom are making their presence felt at this premier trade show.

IMGWOA's participation at the show focuses on the upcoming themed entertainment facility enhancing the already prominent standing of Dubai as a destination of choice for those global tourists thronging the emirate for leisure, business or shopping purposes. Secondly, the adventurous themed destination, that is set for a 2014 opening will also generate a significant demand in the emirate and in the rest of the UAE, for hotels, hotel apartments, along with other retail and leisure components.

The not-to-be-missed destination for thrill seekers of all ages IMGWOA will comprise of four zones: MARVEL, Lost Valley - Dinosaur Adventure, Cartoon Network and IMG Boulevard. Visitors to IMGWOA will enjoy a number of world firsts that will guide them through a series of unique and beautifully designed zones hosting adrenaline pumping roller coasters, immersive themed experiences and thrilling live performances and shows. IMGWOA is situated within City of Arabia, adjacent to Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road (formally known as Emirates Road), Dubailand. The themed entertainment facility also intends to include conference facilities to incorporate corporate events within the park.

Construction works for IMGWOA have moved forward with significant onsite progress and off-site ride manufacturing finalisation at various vendor sites, with shipments planned in the later part of this year. The overall entertainment destination will be in excess of 1.5 million sq. feet and is designed to attract in excess of 20,000 visitors per day.

First half visitor number results released by Dubai's Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), say more than 5.5 million tourists visited the emirate in the first half of 2013 – reflecting an 11.1 per cent year-on-year increase. New landmark destinations such as IMGWOA will ensure that Dubai is well on target to achieve its Tourism Vision for 2020, according to an IMG official.
