Dubai November 23, 2022:  HE Abdulrahman bin Mohamed Al Owais, Minister of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has lauded the launch of ‘We The UAE 2031’, a national plan and road map for the next 50 years, by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, as part of the UAE Government annual meetings.


“The new plan realizes the wise vision of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and will pave the way for the UAE to continue its journey towards excellence not only for the next decade but also for the next fifty years. The national plan will increase preparations for the future and improve all sector capabilities, completely enabling the Emiratis to achieve their goals,” the minister said.


“The health sector was one of the top priorities discussed at the annual UAE government meetings to review and ensure the provision of the best and latest health care services to the Emirati community, as well as to upgrade the caliber of the health system and develop health facilities to ensure 100% readiness of all facilities and medical personnel to deal with health crises and disasters. The new plan will also help us reinforce the country's competitiveness and international standing and place it among the top 10 countries in the world in terms of the quality of health care.
