
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 13 October 2022: After two blockbuster weeks, Dubai Home Festival (DHF) has finally drawn to a close. From 30 September to 13 October, the Dubai Home Festival saw some of the most well-loved home, furniture and appliances brands and stores across the city come together to offer Dubai’s design-savvy shoppers a host of fantastic offers, prizes and free workshops and events.
Capturing some of the excitement and celebrations from the fourth edition of this annual retail festival, Dubai Festival and Retail Establishment (DFRE), has curated a selection of images that showcase the very best of the festival over the last fortnight.
The DHF series of free living and lifestyle workshops, events and masterclasses hosted by experts at locations across the city were a huge hit. City Centre Mirdif organised workshops on a wide variety of subjects, from coaster making and canvas painting, to breakfast themed table design, photography, meditation, and more. Dubai Hills Mall hosted a series of complimentary workshops in collaboration with Indigo Living, including a design photography session and the “Mission Dream Home” workshop, a wellness and living-focused guided meditation facilitated by Shereen Mitwalli – a well-renowned Dubai-based TEDx speaker and life coach.
Modesh and Dana, Dubai’s much-loved characters, were spotted at IKEA, Festival Plaza - Jebel Ali getting inspiration for a make-over of their home in the mangroves. The best friends went on a journey through the rooms and products - testing the softness of the sofas, relaxing on the sun loungers, playing with the toys - and Modesh even had a chance to check his spiky hair in the mirrors of the iconic home furnishing store. Shoppers also came out in force for IKEA’s Wow Weekend Sale with offers of up to 90 per cent off on their products.
At the Great Warehouse Weekend Sale shoppers made the most of up to 80 per cent off on furniture pieces at home shopping favourites including Danube Home, Home Box, Home Centre, Homes r Us and Pan Emirates. While throughout the festival, brands like Pottery Barn, West Elm, EMAX, O C Home, Williams Sonoma, Natuzzi, Home Centre, Jashanmal, Tavola, Crate and Barrel, Dwell, Simply Kitchen, Pan Emirates, Ansar Gallery, United Furniture, and many more, had unbeatable offers of up to 75 per cent off.
The first Lucky Receipt Home Edition surprised 100 lucky shoppers with amazing prizes from some of the city’s best-known and best-loved home and furniture brands including Home Centre, Galeries Lafayette, Jashanmal Home, JYSK, Home Box, OC Home, THE One, Pan Emirates, Pottery Barn and Homes R Us.
Chattels and More, the home and furniture brand, and Stake, an online real-estate investment platform launched a unique collaboration during the Dubai Home Festival. Shoppers were in with a chance to win daily prizes in the form of Chattels and More gift vouchers and Stake credit. At Crate and Barrel, visitors got an amazing 25 to 50 per cent off a large selection of products, and one lucky winner was awarded an AED 100,000 shopping spree.
Shoppers could win IKEA gift vouchers at Dubai Festival City Mall plus there were daily prizes and a garden makeover to be won from Danube Home. At Emax, shoppers could upgrade any old appliance to get an additional spend on a select range of new appliances or televisions while Jumbo customers were offered the opportunity to Win a Dyson Absolute V11 daily, along with up to AED 1000 cashback, at the Jumbo Home Appliance Fest.
And would it even be a festival without fireworks? The skies lit up to celebrate the Dubai Home Festival, with a dazzling fireworks display at Festival Bay, Dubai Festival City Mall, drawing crowds from across the city.
