Dubai; 13 February 2019: The Dubai Shopping Malls Group (DSMG), with the support of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) concluded the successful DSF campaign - ‘Shop, Spin & Win’, with an amazing response from residents and tourists alike. The group’s initiative at increasing the footfall at the participating malls has led to a significant increase in the number of participants this year. Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO, Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, said: “DSMG’s campaigns have contributed to Dubai’s retail economy by focusing on enriching the shoppers’ experience. We are very happy with the collaboration between the public and private sectors, including the participating malls, to ensure the success of Dubai Shopping Festival’s 24th edition. DSF has made Dubai the preferred shopping destination worldwide, starting with 1.6 million shoppers visiting the malls for value deals during the first edition of the festival in 1996, to more than 50 million in 2019.” The malls participated in the DSMG’s promotion this year includes Al Barsha Mall, Al Bustan Centre, Al Mulla Plaza, BurJuman, Century Mall, City Centre -Shindaga, City Centre -Me' aiesm, Dubai Outlet Mall, Etihad Mall, Karama Centre, Oasis Mall, Reef Mall, and Times Square Centre.
