- The Fund Rejoices in a Wide-range of Activities to Mark the 45th National Day
- ADFD Celebrates Traditions with a Memorabilia Museum
Abu Dhabi-UAE: 28 November, 2016: Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD), today organised patriotic festivities in observance of the 45th National Day of the United Arab Emirates. ADFD exemplified UAE pride, glory and triumph with a series of traditional activities, and Memorabilia Museum. On this occasion, His Excellency Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Fund for Development expressed his gratitude and extended his sincerest appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and all Federal Supreme Council members. The National Day recreational activities included the announcement of the winner for the best patriotic office design and the official opening of ‘The Fund’s Memorabilia’ museum. Whilst enjoying the nationalistic events and proceedings His Excellency Al Suwaidi said: “I would like to preface this by wishing each and every one of you a happy National Day! Sheikh Zayed, our Founding Father, has put us on a path to greatness. His progressive vision of innovation is the reason the UAE is at the forefront of societal well-being. Our nation’s leaders have continued to build on his accomplishments. They continue to guide us to prominence, excellence, philanthropy, success and compassion. Let’s do them all proud, let’s aim for more, let’s work harder, achieve faster and reach further.” The Fund, established July 15, 1971, has recently celebrated its 45th year of operation.
