Three new fashion outlets unveiled at Dubai’s original mall showing further growth in the retail market Dubai, UAE, April 4, 2016: Despite heightened competition from larger malls, Al Ghurair Centre has again shown growth and commitment to the retail industry in Dubai by opening three new popular retail outlets. First is the German shirt maker, Seidensticker. Ranges include products from the core brand of the house, as well as a selection from the premium brand Jacques Britt. With the new store in Dubai, Seidensticker now has over 50 stores worldwide. 'The expansion in Dubai was planned for quite some time,” said Gerd Oliver Seidensticker, managing partner of the Seidensticker Group. “It was important to us in this case to find the right local partner. In this partnership, we see good potential for further and sustained expansion in the Arabian Gulf. The magnetism and positive image of Dubai make us feel very confident in the location for this pilot project”. Based in Rome, Italy, LIST Company is the second of the stores, which produces Italian fashion for women who desire to be trendy but feminine. Each season LIST presents two distinct collections: PRET-à-PORTER & eveningwear, which is the more elegant collection, intended especially for sophisticated events and celebrations. The third is Moa Paris, the only French multi-brand accessories for all women waiting for the latest fashions at attractive prices. Building on its success, Moa has many stores throughout France before expanding on the Middle Eastern market. “We are pleased to be expanding continually here at Al Ghurair Centre; this investment allows us to complete the vision that was proposed,” says Hani Dabash, VP-Mall, Residential and Commercial of the Al Ghurair Properties. ‘Having new international clothing brands here at Al Ghurair Centre is welcomed into the bigger plan for us and we are pleased at the response from shoppers.’ The store openings mark an important step in the development of Al Ghurair Centre’s expansion; the significant improvement is now throughout the mall in an F&B and retail mix with popular fashion brands and calendar of events and promotions such as Shop Once Win Twice.
