June 17, 2015: Dabur Egypt Limited, a company with a legacy of making personal care products in Egypt, has formally announced the results of its Annual Financial Statement 2014-2015 for the year ending on March 31, 2015. The company registered exceptional performance for the fiscal year 2014-2015, earning EGP 368 million in sales. Dabur Egypt has recorded a 28 per cent increase in sales and 30 per cent growth in profits for the same period when compared with previous year’s financial results. Following a robust financial year, the company has revealed its plans to increase its productivity by investing EGP 40 million for the current financial year--falling in line with its strategy for horizontal expansion in the country. The investment will be placed into the company’s dedicated projects with an aim to increase productivity; training and development to support its growth in market share, particularly in products related to hair, skin and oral care segments. In addition, Dabur Egypt aims to boost its profitability by 25 per cent every year until 2018 and position the company as a key player in Egyptian market. Ashish Jassoria CFO, Dabur Egypt Limited, said: “After an excellent financial year 2014-15, Dabur Egypt has plans to invest EGP 40 million to increase its production capacity, new warehouses and Capex. Moreover, we will also launch new brands in the Egyptian market that will complement already existing ones, including Vatika Alfa range shampoos, new Fem USA variants and other new categories with an aim to see a 25 per cent growth annually in sales.
