UAE, November 4, 2014- Gulf Extrusions (Gulfex), a leading global manufacturer of extruded aluminium products, joined the whole nation in celebration of UAE Flag Day with a flag raising ceremony held at noontime at its Dubai offices. The event was led by Mr. Majid Al Ghurair, the Managing Director of Gulf Extrusions and was joined by the company’s senior officials and employees. Gulf Extrusion’s celebration of UAE Flag Day falls in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to hoist the UAE flag on Monday, Flag Day, as a sign of national unity. Held annually on the third of November, UAE Flag Day commemorates His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s accession as President of the UAE. The event is celebrated by hoisting the nation’s flag at public and private buildings at noon to symbolize the unification of the UAE’s flag across all its land and buildings.
