This season La Martina has a special treat in store for all the brand lovers with three remarkable capsules that you just won’t be able to get enough of. The Privada, Maserati and Royal Box collections are all in store now! Coleccion Privada: ‘Savile Row’ style gets a shot of South American vitality Vivid colours and soft lines invade English bespoke tailoring tradition. La Martina "Coleccion Privada" capsule collection is a contemporary take on the encounter between Anglo-Saxon and Argentinian culture. Sharper silhouettes are paired with exclusive linings featuring vivid textures to match “crazy ties”, where sober regimental stripes make way for flowers and curvilinear geometric shapes with a Sixties op art feel. La Martina for Maserati: a polo shirt created to mark 100 years of the House of the Trident The two brands are protagonists in the greatest polo events in the world, and present a new capsule collection that includes a special shirt produced to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the House of the Trident. Created to fully emphasize the sporty personality of the co-brand, with its "tecno-race" ID, the La Martina capsule collection for Maserati selects materials that heighten the aerodynamics of the shapes, such as soft-shell or breathable neoprene, for example. The range includes technical sweaters with water-repellent properties, thermal bonding instead of traditional stitching, coated zips, reflective and polo inserts with patches that are dry clean, i.e. stain proof. Royal Box: A Royally-Inspired Tartan From the dress code for guests attending events at the Guards Polo Club comes La Martina’s “Royal Box” capsule collection for FW 2014/15, inspired by the tartan kilt worn by Prince Charles. This capsule is a concentrate of stylistic references – from the military flavour that permeates the entire collection to the exclusive patches inspired by the heraldic symbols of the British Monarchy. There is a particular emphasis on wool, as opposed to cotton, and the colours of choice range from natural shades of camel to grey mélange, in place of the more traditional English navy blue. A plethora of buttons and graphics that reinterpret the rose that appears on the Royal Coat of Arms of the United Kingdom complete a collection styled to underscore the British origins of the game of polo.
