Kurt Geiger Launches Autumn Winter '14 Collection!

Nicholas Roeg's 1973 British-Italian masterpiece Don’t Look Now sets the theme of the colour red and the juxtaposition of Venice with the English countryside.

Evoking the power of scarlet, print, texture and silhouettes, shoes are designed for the Kurt Geiger girl’s taste in British traditions and the magic of fashion. Laced sandals and slippers with stars, stones and sparkle reflect the glittering water of the Grand Canal whilst an increase in brown, tan and earthy tones, cuddly shearling and suede protect her in the great English outdoors. New Chelsea boots, Derbies and Go-Go boots ensure that the flat ankle boot and over the knee styles continue to be all the rage. Stilettos masked as second skin with mesh, sassy leopard or lace. Flats get the fantasy treatment too with slippers and skaters in touchy feely velvet with brooches and bows. This season a duel attitude fuses function and fantasy.

Roeg’s portrait of Italy is a vision of a real working city made by man. Designed in Britton, made in Italy, Venetian lace adds a decorative dark Italian glamour to the Kurt Geiger London B series of signature stilettos.

Crimson sets a darker mood for accessories with saffiano leather bags crafted in classic shapes in shades of scarlet, oxblood and hot pink; as well as a rich wine python print. This season the ‘London’ saffiano bag is introduced with a limited edition hand painted Venetian lace print, echoing the Kurt Geiger London lace shoes.

Kurt Geiger Autumn Winter 14 shoes and accessories including Kurt Geiger London, KG Kurt Geiger, Carvela and Miss KG will launch in stores and online at KURTGEIGER.COM from July 2014.

Exclusively for the Middle East the Carvela collection will offer an edited series of styles with rhinestones, shine and sparkle. Fairytale courts with encrusted bows, mules that shimmer and block heel sandals boasting an intricate lattice upper; this season’s shoes reflect in both silver and gold with accents of black and nude.
These exclusive Carvela styles will be available from August 2014.
