Dubai, December 4, 2013: ROC Group's Emirates Industrial Gas Company LLC (EIGC), leading independent producers and distributors of industrial gases in the Middle East, has rebranded into AIRTEC, following its merger with US-based Praxair, the largest industrial gases company in North and South America, and one of the largest worldwide.

AIRTEC now represents the combined know-how and reputation of EIGC and Praxair, and is aimed at further strengthening its market leading position as the largest total gas solutions provider in the region. New logo will be used in the company's dealings with clients and partners in the market.

Peeyush Jain, Chief Operating Officer, ROC Group stated “Praxair partnership has taken ROC group to the international standardsand given the expertise to lead the company to new heights. AIRTEC is new identity of ROC Group Companies Emirates Industrial Gases Co. LLC, Qatar Oxygen Co., Bahrain Medical & Industrial Gas Plants and new facility coming up in Saudi Arabia.”

The merged unit leverages EIGC long nearly four decades of success in the region - offering a portfolio of products and services for a diverse range of industries, including Nitrogen Purging and Blanketing, Steel, Food & Beverages, Metal Fabrication (Welding & Cutting), Material & Processing, Energy, Medical, Healthcare & Laboratory, and Combustion Engineering for Steel, Aluminum, Cement Plants and Metallurgy – with Praxair'soperational expertise, on-site plant capabilities and technology offerings.
