Basra-Iraq: 17 November 2013 – In light of the recent events in Basra, Iraq Future Energy and Iraq Energy Forum - which was due to be held from 26 – 28 November 2013 at the Iraq Energy City in Basra, Iraq - will now take place from the 3 – 5 June, 2014. Kay Mitchell, Portfolio Director - Middle East, The Energy Exchange, said: “In consultation with our strategic partners - Iraq Energy Institute, the Chairman of the Oil and Energy Committee, our Ministerial supporters, our sponsors, and our speakers, we have made the prudent decision to move the summit from November 2013.” The Energy Exchange remains committed to Iraq and its energy sectors and look forward to being a supporter of their growth over the coming years.
