The much-loved mascot of Global Village, Globo, participated in the International Yoga Day on June 18th with 25,000 attendees Dubai, UAE, June 20, 2016: Globo, the official mascot of Global Village, the leading cultural, family and entertainment destination in the region, egged on participants at one of the biggest yoga events of the year that took place in the Dubai World Trade Center on June 18th 2016 from 7pm onwards. The International Yoga Day garnered a presence of nearly 25,000 people with a power-packed programme outlined by the Indian Consulate that had organized this event under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the UAE Olympic Committee. Globo was seen actively participating in yoga asanas (positions) while also encouraging all the yoga enthusiasts and especially the young ones to follow a lifestyle of health, harmony and happiness.
