A tightly-edited holiday wardrobe for long sun-filled days and balmy nights Dutch photographer and Chloé girl Annemarieke van Drimmelen and close friend, singer Dimphy Janse, took a road trip through the desolate yet arrestingly beautiful landscape of the American Southwest. The images reveal a story of intimacy and friendship on the open road, as the two women pass through White Sands in New Mexico, the cacti-covered plains of Arizona’s Saguaro National Park, and the vibrant city of Tucson.
Stormy desert skies and whitewashed walls provide the perfect backdrop for the cool, summery tones of the 14-piece collection that sees lightweight smock dresses, peasant blouses, and easy-fit pants fashioned in the freshest white cotton and deep-blue paisley patterned silks.
Lace-up printed espadrilles accompany the ready-to-wear, alongside the iconic ‘Drew’ and ‘Hudson’ bags, cast this season in a graphic bandana print.
“For this exclusive Sun collection, I imagined bare-shouldered girls in breezy sundresses and blouses, with flyaway drawstrings at the wrists and necklines, alluding to an intoxicating feeling of sun-drenched insouciance” says Clare Waight Keller, Chloé Creative Director.
