Visit Sets Scene for Possible Future Algeria Pavilion at Global Village Dubai, UAE, March 13, 2016: Algeria’s acting Minister for Town Planning, Tourism and Traditional Manufacturing, H.E. Aicha Tagabo, has visited Global Village and been taken on a tour of the park by Global Village’s CEO Ahmad Hussain Bin Essa in the presence of H.E. Saleh Attia, the Algerian ambassador to the UAE. The high profile visit has laid the foundations for the possible addition of an Algeria pavilion to the international mix at Global Village in the future. During her visit to Global Village, the Minister expressed her admiration for the park as a unique shopping, entertainment and cultural concept that attracts guests from around the word to this one of a kind destination. During the tour and meetings with Global Village management, Her Excellency also outlined her aspirations to have Algeria participate in future Global Village seasons with a large-scale pavilion that will showcase Algerian products, services, arts, fashion, lifestyle and tourist attractions. Global Village’s CEO Ahmad Hussain Bin Essa said he was delighted to welcome the Minister and Ambassador to the park and explained that he was delighted with the prospect of having Algeria join the international community of nations already represented at the park. He said: “The nation of Algeria boasts a long history and culture, and has a track record of many diverse and unique arts and products that can add value and culture to a potential new pavilion.
