BMTC bags ‘LED Solution of the Year 2015' award from TRILUX

Dubai, UAE, March 6, 2016:   Bahri & Mazroei Trading Company (BMTC), part of the Bahri & Mazroei Group - a leading provider of electrical and lighting solutions in the UAE, has won ‘LED Solution of the Year 2015’ award from Arnsberg-based global lighting solutions manufacturer TRILUX.  

The award was bestowed upon BMTC for completing a Dubai Airport Free Zone Authority project by using TRILUX’s ArimoS MRX LED luminaire. 1000 Trilux luminaires were commissioned at the facility that resulted in an overall 41 per cent saving on total wattage. The luminaires also have an extended 42 per cent more lifetime than conventional lighting. Mr. Bhaskar Iyer, General Manager of BMTC, received the award from Mr. Dietmar Sack, Sales Director - Export at TRILUX at a ceremony recently held in Dubai. 

Upon receiving the award, Mr. Bhaskar Iyer, said, “We are extremely proud to receive this award from TRILUX, our major business partner with whom we enjoy an association that goes back to over 35 years. Today, BMTC has been recognized as a reliable lighting solutions provider by several government departments like Municipalities in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, the Ministry of Public Works, Department of Presidential Affairs, Dubai Airport Free Zone, ADNOC, GASCO, Aldar and RTA Dubai, etc.” 

BMTC had earlier launched an innovative range of TRILUX’s new LED light fixtures in the UAE. The range of TRILUX products included the award winning Lateralo Plus - an office task lighting solution that offers impressive, innovative and intelligent two-level networking of the latest prism technology; Faciella LED - an outdoor accent lighting application that resolves different lighting tasks to emphasize the most attractive features of a building architecture and Less LED Architectural Downlights - an application for architectural, office and retail infrastructure with recessed down light for cut out ceiling openings.
