Repetto celebrates the mutineering rebelliousness of the ballerina with a line of women’s shoes baptised “Detroit”, available exclusively in Repetto boutiques
as part of the new Spring-Summer 2016 collection, with a preview at colette.

Nine very high-heeled shoes with haute couture detailing step aside from the codes of a classical dancer to play on a more transgressive femininity expressed through pointy studs, ostrich feathers and intertwined leather.

Available in fifteen versions, with different colours and materials, these are the first shoes to be manufactured in Italy at an artisanal factory of great renown. They’re also among those not conceived according to the legendary ‘stitch and return’ technique.

Which makes them all the more exceptional and explains their selective distribution:
