Uterqüe's autumn-winter 2015 | 2016 collection takes the brand firmly in the direction of the latest trends and fashion in its broadest sense, drawing its inspiration from pure and simple lines to sketch next season’s looks. Designs that are coherent with a new brand image that taps the subtlest and cleanest-cut facet of fashion. Ready-to-wear A mix of volumes, textures, colours and shapes for a winter filled with contrasts and fashion in its purest form: maxi-check prints, bell sleeves and ethnic-style touches. Watch for the long coats with big lapels and belts that are mixed and matched with other oversized, masculine-cut designs made from wool in its various manifestations, reversible fabrics and knits. Leather, the ever-present star of every collection, stands out once again in the form of fluid trousers, skirts, overshirts and outerwear. The colour palette is dominated by green, burgundy, Klein blue and camel, together with the brand's classical colours such as grey, black and white, which come into the fore as winter sets in. Bags, costume jewellery and accessories As is only to be expected of Uterqüe, the chain's accessories remain must-haves and this season's come with a markedly retro feel in multiple materials. The bag collection features more fine details than ever, ranging from everyday classics to sophisticated clutches suitable for any special occasion. Produced for the most part in Spain, priority is given to the quality of the leather; every last detail is nurtured, including the use of trinkets such as rings and tassels. The costume jewellery, in all its splendour, is at its best in statement necklaces and bracelets, which give themselves over to more futuristic materials such as metal combined with mother-of-pearl and natural stone. Original eye-catching and sophisticated pieces with the ability to personalise just about any look. As usual, the maxi necklaces and bracelets are show-stoppers, ideal for brightening up simple and restrained outfits. Footwear The footwear collection starts the season off in the jogging spirit, dominated by the more casual models, albeit made from top-quality materials: snakeskin, fur and soft leather. Square tips are back in fashion for this year's high-heeled boots and XL stretch boots. Also, retro-look ankle boots and high-heeled shoes in crocodile and snake skin. The flats are daring, with rubber platforms and tracked souls. Further into the winter, the collection gives way to revisited feminine and classical styles that live side by side with sports shoes in the wardrobes of the multi-faceted woman who knows her style. In terms of the colour range, the blues start to make way for the winter classics: black, burgundy and dark green. As always, the Uterqüe woman does not neglect the quality and design of her footwear: the Made in Italy collection, finished with stone flourishes and felt-like textures, rounds out a look conceived of by and for her. The new-season collection Uterqüe's latest collection was shot through the lens of photographer Alfonso Ohnur, modelled by Vivien Solari. Vivien embodies the values of the Uterqüe woman: real, elegant and sophisticated beauty, coupled with a strong personality. The collection was shot in black and white, aiming at a conceptual aesthetic framed by snowy landscapes and coasts. Ready-to-wear pieces and accessories find the perfect balance in a carefully-nurtured fusion of design and trendiness. The perfect Uterqüe combination.
