To help simplify enterprise mobility, the new SAP HANA Cloud Platform mobile services are designed to integrate Big Data and the Internet of Things to drive mobile business innovation by connecting people, devices and business networks using SAP’s mobile app development, staging, and security.

Service providers can leverage Big Data to remain competitive with SAP’s new SAP HANA database running on the SAP HANA Cloud Platform for real-time, contextual data processing and analytics enhancing network operations, customer engagement, and omni-channel commerce.

Helpingtelcos to simplify their B2C and B2Bengagements while enhancing marketing operations, SAP will release enhancements to its SAP hybris Marketing solution. The enhancements will enable brands to leverage Big Data to deliver contextual, consistent, and relevant experiences throughout the customer journey, regardless of channel or device - opening up new opportunities for telco marketers.

Internet of Things Solutions to Boost Business ROI
SAP and Jasper are collaborating to help enterprises simplify deploying and managing IoT services on a global scale, with solutions that simplify and shorten the time to launch; and manage, and monetize IoT services. The Jasper Control Center platform is planned to integrate with SAP HANA to automate IoT services, analyse service subscription and usage data.

Taking connected ports to the next level, SAP and T-Systems have entered into an original equipment manufacturer agreement to offer globally the smartPORT logistics networking solution for IT platform and mobile apps. Already used by the Hamburg Port Authority, the solution is aimed at enhancing ports and logistics hubs such as airports, parcel distribution centers, and production sites.

To accelerate and promote the business use of the IoT, SAP has joined the 140-member Industrial Internet Consortium. SAP will help to drive interoperability and global open standards, while sharing use cases, test beds, reference architecture and frameworks, and security.
