Muscat, Oman, 12 March 2015 - GAC Oman’s customer access and service in the growing port of Sohar has been boosted with the relocation of its branch office to ground floor premises on the port’s main street - as part of the company’s support of the government drive to develop the port as a global shipping hub. General Manager Daniel Nordberg says that the larger, more easily accessible office will enable GAC Oman to respond to customer requests on the ground even faster and more efficiently. GAC Oman has been a part of the country’s business prospects for over four decades. It is now considered to be the country’s only fully integrated and independent logistics and shipping services provider. Since its inception in 1972, GAC Oman has supported the country’s business and social development through a number of community ventures and charitable initiatives. GAC Oman is renowned for meeting the logistics needs of manufacturers, distributors and retailers with particular emphasis on the oil & gas, construction and development, fast moving consumer goods (FMCG), automotive parts and events sectors.
