IDP roadshow with 38 global universities, attracted 1220 participants including students and parents in the UAE Dubai, UAE, November 08th, 2014: The IDP Education roadshow across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain attracted 1220 students and parents. IDP Education, one of the world’s largest student placement organisations had recently organised its ‘IDP Middle East Study Abroad Roadshow’ in the UAE. The roadshow provided the families in UAE with all the information required for the students to study in an overseas university of their choice. This event had 38 Universities from Australia, UK, US and Canada. “We were delighted to see the response from the students in UAE. Studying abroad is a unique experience that helps the student to gain confidence by living among new people, discover a new culture and a whole new world apart from learning the selected curriculum. Our roadshow has been a great platform for UAE students who are keen to study abroad. It’s an end-to-end process where the students and parents are educated and informed about choices they can make to secure a bright career. IDP enables international students gain admission to educational institutions in the main English-speaking countries. We also provide personalised course advice, course application submission and pre-departure guidance,” said Maher El Bakry, IDP Middle East Regional Director. Australia was well represented in the event with top universities like Monash University, The University of Melbourne, The University of Sydney, University of Adelaide and University of New South Wales. Nine other Australian universities also took part in the roadshow. There were nine Universities from the USA and four from Canada. IDP has placed more than 400,000 students into quality institutions in Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Canada and New Zealand.
