Dubai, UAE, 25 September2014:Companies of the UAE, now is your chance to get fit and win! du invites teams from across the UAE to join its inaugural Corporate Step Challenge, an exciting way for colleagues to boost their health for the chance to win prizes up to AED 33,000! Under the umbrella of du’s Every Step Counts wellness campaign, the 5-week Corporate Step Challenge, organised in partnership with DUPLAYS, a sports and social activities organiser operating in 10 cities with more than 60,000 members, will see teams of five compete against each other in the number of steps they can achieve in total. Steps will be counted using the du Wellness App and Jawbone devices. Three winning teams will receive prizes at the end of the challenge. First place winners will receive prizes to the value of AED 33,000; second place will receive prizes to the value of AED 25,000, and third place will receive prizes to the value of AED 17,000. Prizes include gift vouchers valid at all du shops, Skechers shoes, Jawbone devices, gym vouchers from EMD Fitness, Duplays passes, Canon cameras, and VOX Gold cinema vouchers! To participate, team members must download the du Wellness App onto their Apple device, which can then be synced with a Jawbone device to track the number of steps they take. Jawbone devices will be provided to registered teams as part of a participation package, which will also include five Skechers shoe vouchers, bags, and welcome instructions. During this time, teams must accumulate as many steps as they can, with the winning team being the one with the most steps at the end of the challenge. Results will be publically displayed on www.du.ae/sitename, so that teams can track how successful they are - and boost their effort for better chances of winning! Teams can also participate in mini challenges that will be announced every week. The winners of these challenges will receive prizes ranging from spa and gym vouchers, to shoes, du Tuesday movie tickets and more.
