Beach Rotana Hosts Make A Difference Day 2013

13th annual charity event successfully raises AED 216,000

Abu Dhabi, November 12, 2013 – Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi proudly hosted its annual charity event, Make A Difference Day for the 13th year running.

The afternoon event was centred on a fairytale theme where children enjoyed a wide variety of activities from dancing in Prince Charming's bouncy castle and playing other entertaining carnival games.

“We are proud to say that our collection of AED 216,000 from this year has exceeded any in the past and the main reason of our success this year was the team's tireless efforts at promoting the event,” says the hotel's General Manager, Mr. Jörg A. Hauri.

For approximately five months, the team at Beach Rotana worked tirelessly to secure sponsorships and sell entrance vouchers to the event at a mere AED 30 each. All proceeds from the sale of these coupons and sponsorships went directly to the two appointed beneficiaries of Make A Difference Day – Make A Wish Foundation and the Little Wings Foundation.
