Projectors Designed for a Range of Functions Including Large Venues, Education and Business Applications

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 24th October 2013 – Two new Panasonic projectors, the lamp free PT-RZ470, and the latest 3-chip DLP projector PT-DZ13K with book mapping, have both been part of the projector line-up showcased by Panasonic at GITEX 2013.

Superb picture quality, ease of operation, and eco-friendly, Panasonic's new range of projectors are designed and optimized for use in any environment. These new projectors from Panasonic incorporate cutting edge design and technology, and offer a new digital experience for regional businesses looking for industry leading projectors.

“The Middle East projector market is driven by growing business demand. It is no more a product catering to a niche segment and the market is bullish on the projector demand forecasts. These next generation visual solutions are ideal for Middle East homes, offices and large venues. Our projectors not only incorporate the latest technologies but are competitively priced as well,” said Yuichiro Suzuki, Senior Manager, System Solutions, Panasonic Marketing Middle East and Africa.

“Visitors to the Panasonic stand will be able to review and sample our expanded projector portfolio”, added Yuichiro.

Lamp Free Projector PT-RZ470

The new PT-RZ470 Lamp Free Projector from Panasonic is an alternative to the current short-life span conventional lamp systems with a combination of LED and laser diodes. It comes with a light source that has a life-span of 20,000 hours – that's around 5 times more than a normal bulb-based projectors life-span and equivalent to more than 2 years continuous use, without the need to replace a lamp or change a filter.

This newly developed LED/Laser-combined light source enables solid reliability, excellent Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and long-lasting brightness, unprecedented by conventional lamp-based projectors. All of the Lamp Free Projector feature Digital Link connectivity. Other benefits of the Lamp Free Projector series include, quickness of image appearing as well as no cooling necessity after use, and this further enables 24/7 operation capabilities.

3 Chip DLP PT-DZ13K

The PT-DZ13K projector is the latest addition to Panasonic 3-chip DLP projector line-up. With a brightness and resolution of 12,000 lumens and 1366×768 to 1920×1200 resolutions, this new projector is ideal for rental and staging applications.

3D compatibility and installation flexibility makes this projector ideal for large-venue applications such as auditoriums, museums and rental and staging that requires both maximum brightness and easy handling. The Lens Memory adjusts the image size and location in up to three different projection positions and the combination of four new 380W UHM lamps and the Dynamic Iris allow the PT-DZ13Kto deliver a 10,000:1 contrast ratio to ensure super high brightness and best possible picture quality.

This device has been designed with an extremely small footprint due to a highly efficient optical design as well as an improved liquid cooling system that makes it possible to keep the noise level to a minimum during operation.
