uEdit HD brings true WYSIWYG and graphic-art fidelities combined with a mobile-friendly user experience, to online editing of documents. Dubai, United Arab Emirates – September 16th 2013 – XMPie®, A Xerox Company, and a leading provider of software solutions for Individualized Communications Management (ICM), is announcing uEdit® HD, the new generation of its uEdit solution for remote online editing of XLIM® documents. As an HTML5 application, uEdit HD brings visual and interactive fidelities to text, graphics, and images that were, until now, associated only with professional-grade publishing solutions, such as Adobe InDesign. Completely re-engineered in native HTML5, uEdit HD answers the rising need for mobile-ready solutions due to the proliferation and ever-growing popularity of smartphones and tablets. uEdit HD is included with XMPie uStore and is also available as a standalone module for developers of custom solutions that require remote online editing of documents. When used with uStore, uEdit HD enables web-portal visitors to make changes to the layout and design of a dynamic (variable) document template through an interactive web-based interface. uEdit HD, as with previous generations of uEdit, operates on documents in the XMPie XLIM format, which supports a large subset of the graphical features in Adobe InDesign documents.
