Kia Middle East & Africa unveils new K8 facelift model

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, March 5, 2025: Kia Middle East and Africa announces the launch of the new K8 facelift model, redefining the premium sedan segment. Available in both ICE and HEV versions, this flagship sedan embodies Kia's unwavering commitment to innovation, sophisticated design, and cutting-edge technology, reinforcing Kia's presence in the luxury sedan market.

The new K8 - the flagship model of Kia’s diverse sedan lineup - redefines modern luxury and innovation in the E-segment. Designed to elevate the driving experience, it combines sophisticated aesthetics, enhanced aerodynamics, and cutting-edge technology. The integration of Kia’s Opposites United Design philosophy, featuring the Star Map signature lighting and Digital Tiger Face on the exterior, creates a bold and distinctive presence on the road. With premium materials, advanced features, and seamless connectivity, the K8 reinforces Kia’s commitment to excellence - offering a harmonious blend of elegance, performance, and future-forward design.

The Dynamic Welcome/Escort Light enhances the user experience with three rhythmic lighting patterns, adding convenience while highlighting the vehicle’s futuristic appeal. Inside, the K8 offers a refined and immersive cabin experience. A curved dual 12.3-inch integrated display, powered by Kia’s next-generation infotainment system (CCnC), offers seamless connectivity and intuitive control. Drivers will also enjoy the Ergo Motion Driver’s Seat with memory function, while quilted Nappa leather seats and ambient mood lighting elevate passenger comfort to new heights.

To further enhance the premium ambiance, the K8 includes LED Foot Lamps and LED Door Spot Lamps, which illuminate the ground when the driver or passenger doors are opened.

Equipped with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), the new K8 places a premium on safety with features such as Forward Collision Avoidance Assist (FCA 2), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance Assist (BCA), and a 10-airbag system for comprehensive protection, depending on country specifics

The K8 offers two advanced powertrain options: an ICE Smartstream 3.5L V6, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, delivering 296 horsepower for a dynamic yet smooth drive; and an HEV 1.6L turbo hybrid engine, coupled with a 6-speed automatic transmission, providing 177 horsepower with enhanced fuel efficiency.
