Dubai, United Arab Emirates, February 21, 2017: International School of Arts and Sciences (ISAS) and Al Mawakeb Schools in Al Garhoud; and Al Barsha joined the nationwide celebration to celebrate UAE National Sports Day. A number of activities were planned on the day to impart the importance of sportsmanship and fitness amongst students within and outside the school premises, including volleyball, basketball, football, cycling, running and swimming. By participating in the UAE National Sports Day, AMSI schools aims to champion the role that sports can play in a student’s life, strengthening physical and mental well-being whilst at the same time reinforcing bonds through competitive spirit. AMSI believes in the importance of extending a child’s education beyond the classroom and contributing to the nation’s vision of developing responsible, creative, and healthy students for national and global success.
