TORY BURCH INTRODUCES THE POSITANO COLLECTION

Dubai, UAE — March 30, 2016: Tory Burch is pleased to introduce the Positano Espadrille, a bohemian beach shoe with Sixties twist. Inspired by Tory’s effortlessly elegant parents, who worse espadrilles on their summer travels and bought Try her first pair in Greece, the rustic, rope-soled shoes have become a signature of the Tory Burch brand.

Traditionally a workman’s shoe, the humble espadrille came to epitomize getaway chic when style icons like Cary Grant, Grace Kelly and Jacqueline Kennedy began wearing them on beaches from Capri to Cannes.

Updated with ankle-wrapping braided ties and ghillie-style vamps, the Positano is a dressier take on the classic. A natural jute sole reinforced for durability and leather insole that adds comfort and refinement makes it a warm-weather essential. For Spring 2016, the Positano Collection includes flats and platform heels in navy and poppy-red suede as well as napa and navy leather. The Collection will be available at Tory Burch boutiques around the world including The Dubai Mall in April.

THE TUNIC, REVISITED
For Tory, it all started with a tunic she found in a Paris flea market. It was the starting point for one of our first designs and continues to inspire us today. Our freshest takes: with fringe and as an off-the-shoulder dress.

THE ICONIC TUNIC
The tunic has long epitomized the bohemian chic of women in the Sixties and Seventies - including Tory’s mother. Apres swim, Reva would tie up her wet hair and throw on a caftan. Today, we reimagine it for places beyond the beach- as a billowy silk dress with floral appliques and in hand-embroidered cotton voile, embellished with beading, sequins and tassels.

GWEN TUNIC
Softly structured and striped - the Gwen tunic is one of the season’s new riffs on our signature silhouette. Worn on our spring runway, it comes in a textural cotton-linen knit, with cleanly defined lines balanced by a lightweight feel. A relaxed v-neck fit with drop shoulders and fringed borders enhance the airy quality. It slips on with ease, creating a graphic bohemian statement look to carry you from leisurely days to breezy getaways.

JESSICA CARDIGAN

Worn on our spring runway, it comes in a textural cotton-linen knit with cleanly defined lines, balanced by a lightweight feel. DEBRA CAFTAN

LORETTA TUNIC DRESS
Based on a classic peasant style that be worn on or off the shoulder, our Loretta Tunic Dress combines the looknof separates with the ease of a one-piece. So effortless, its made from gauzy grid-patterned cotton that’s lined and features decorative embroidered bands. Smocking at the neckline, waist and cuffs.

MADELINE TUNIC 
Inspired by a vintage design, our Madeline Tunic reimagines the look with intricate needlework and hints of shine. This hand-embroidered cotton voile top is detailed with rows of beads and sequins, partially wrapped in tonal threads - all placed to enhance the relaxed shape. Complete with tassel ties at the neck and a fabric-covered button at each cuff, it’s a polished city-to-seashore style that’s an absolute breeze to wear.

SADIE TUNIC DRESS 
Relaxed refinement: Our Sadie Tunic Dress is an easygoing look, detailed with a toss of graphic flower appliques.
