BASF invites its customers to learn about new solutions and to visit its Newtrition™ Lab in booth S3-E18 at the Dubai World Trade Centre on October 27-29. During the three-day event, BASF will host daily Newtrition™ courses and demonstrations using bakery and dessert ingredients Lamequick®, a whipping base, and Spongolit®, a cake aerating emulsifier made for the bakery, dessert and food service industries. BASF has enhanced its whipping base portfolio. After the launch of Lamequick® CE 7279, this year two more will follow: Lamequick® CN 7940 and Lamequick® CE 8580. Lameqick® CN 7940 is a coconut based whipped topping and based on non-hydrogenated fat. The Lamequick® CE 8580 is also based on non-hydrogenated fat and is acid-stable. In addition, Julia Raquet, Vice President Human Nutrition Europe, will present BASF Newtrition™ solutions at the Food and Beverage Innovation Conference on October 28, at 2:20 pm. Anna Dennhöfer, Newtrition™ expert for Desserts, Emulsions & Dairy, will then give a deep-dive on the advantages of non-hydrogenated whipping agents. Newtrition™ experts at BASF’s Human Nutrition division will present its range of food fortification concepts, highlighting the use of vitamin A and D to address pressing health issues in the region, whereas BASF’s Construction Chemicals division will offer advanced chemical solutions for kitchens. Among its products for the food and beverage industry, the Ucrete flooring system meets the strictest hygiene, resistance and durability requirements. This heavy-duty polyurethane resin can be installed to control undesirable static electricity and is available in different colors and antislip profiles.
