November sees the Mall taken over by all things shoe-related! October 14th 2015: Put your best foot forward, a spring in your step and head down to BurJuman this November where, the humble SHOE, in all its glory will be celebrated. During the month of November, BurJuman Centre offers fashionistas and shoppers alike the opportunity to be part of its Shoe Crush events. A number of exhibits and installations, along with some vibrant live dance performances, will highlight the huge impact that shoes have made and continue to make throughout the decades of the 20th and 21st centuries, as well as their general influence on the evolution of fashion trends and styles. Watch out for The Shoe Show Exhibition being organised in partnership with the Virtual Shoe Museum from Holland. This retrospective, will feature an exclusive collection of rare footwear creations by internationally renowned designers, architects and artists, ranging from futuristic boots to jewel encrusted shoes. Marvel at the spectacle of six pairs of freestanding giant shoes, which all stand over 1.5 metres high. Be entertained every weekend in the Pavilion Garden and throughout the Mall by Irish and Vintage Tap dancers respectively. And finally, participate in the weekend raffles whereby when you spend AED 300 or more, you stand the chance to enter a prize draw to win AED 40,000 weekly.
