Dubai, United Arab Emirates, October 07, 2015: A NASA astronaut, member of the Expedition 45 crew, aboard the International Space Station, took this nighttime panorama on September 23. The image was captured from space with a Nikon D4 digital camera using a 28 millimeter lens. With EXPEED 3, Nikon's latest image-processing engine, and a 16.2-megapixel FXformat sensor, the Nikon D4 offers uncompromised performance in some of the most demanding ambient lighting and environmental conditions imaginable. The photograph shows one of the few places on Earth where an international boundary can be seen at night. The winding border between Pakistan and India is lit by security lights that have a distinct orange tone.
