Abu Dhabi, UAE: The Galleria on Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi’s luxury shopping and dining destination, was recognised as the best project in the ‘Retail’ category at the MENA Interior & Design Awards ceremony held earlier this week. Since its inception in 2013, the prestigious Middle East Interior Design Awards recognises the best firms and individuals involved in interior design and architecture of outstanding projects located in the MENA region, with this year’s edition featuring over one hundred and sixty submissions. Participating in the hotly-contested ‘Retail’ category, The Galleria on Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi, was the first choice for an expert panel of distinguished individuals from the interior design and architecture industry. Ali Eid AlMheiri, Executive Director of Mubadala Real Estate & Infrastructure said, “Al Maryah Island, home to Abu Dhabi’s international financial center, has been designed with a vision to support Abu Dhabi's long-term growth and economic diversification.
