Dubai being one of the best tourist destinations is definitely overflowing with burger food chains and restos. I've tried a few of them since I came here in Dubai and I have a few favorites. Three days ago, our team was lucky to have been invited for a few bites in Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK). I’ve seen a few posters of their new Salmon Burger just recently and I thought who can say no to such invitation? So we set the schedule and headed on to our next food adventure. GBK's place in Marina Mall is clean, neatly designed and inviting. We saved a nice spot so we can get good lighting for the photos. Besides ordering their Salmon Burger, we had to ask the manager to recommend some of their bestselling offers since it was our first with them. So we ended up with Mushroom Swiss, Habanero and Salmon Burger. The burgers were good. I love the savory taste of their Mushroom Swiss -- the tender and juicy patty on a soft hamburger bun, not to mention the sweet and salty blend of cheese, mayo and caramelised onion which was heavenly. Habanero on the other hand is quite different. It’s flavorful with a bit of a spicy kick to it; simply delicious. I’ve always been a beef hamburger person but what amazed me was the Salmon Burger. I suddenly became a fan when I tasted GBK’s version of it. It’s a refreshing combination of delectable ingredients - the garlic mayo and lettuce that complements the light and well-seasoned taste of the salmon. I also realized it’s a very healthy step in transitioning from the heavy and often greasy feeling of beef burgers to the simple and light quality of the salmon. Gourmet Burger Kitchen offers a variety of burgers of all flavors, desserts and drinks. Though we haven’t had the chance to indulge with everything they have, I certainly think that their burgers are awesome, be it the bulky ones or the light ones. When we pay our next visit though it’s not just the food we’re coming back to but also the relaxing ambience and the friendly staff that assisted us from start to finish.
