Dubai - 5th January 2015: Living between paris and new york we love and revere the ease and effortlessness of french dressing. for our resort 2015 collection for kenzo, we wish to pay homage to the refined signatures of the classic french woman’s wardrobe. a fervent ode to her timeless, traditional garments, and an energizing mélange of key fundamentals for today. Staples such as a navy breton stripe, girl’s chemise and cabans are exaggerated, modified and graphically enhanced. volumized cross pleats, notch detailing, and shifted proportions create a silhouette reminiscent of parisian daywear. bold gilded hardware uttered on coats, sailor pants and jackets gush with gallic gusto. For accessories we love excess à la française! gold chainmail necklaces, medallions, enameled metal cuffs and legionnaire sandals are teamed with our new “bike” bag in pebbled leathers and spazzolato trims.
