Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort launches new themed nights at the Palm Garden Restaurant and Terrace

Dubai, October 20, 2014 - The Palm Garden Restaurant and Terrace at the Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort launches new themed nights.

Each night is rich in flavor and color, a delight for the eyes and taste buds. The Palm Garden Restaurant is the perfect place for all the enthusiasts of global cuisine which appreciate worldwide delicacies, prepared by a cosmopolitan team of Chefs.

“The Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort has a renovated team of Chef’s with different backgrounds. The team is led by the Executive Chef Stephan Kuehlwetter with more than twenty years of experience. This was the perfect timing to re-launch our themed nights, giving each chef the opportunity to show their specialties and delight our guests. ” says Dany Dagher, General Manager, Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort.

Every night is a promise to discover the flavors of different countries or regions.

On Sunday the buffet is inspired on the Bavarian and Alps tradition. Dishes prepared by the Executive Chef Stephan Kühlwetter include Cheese Spätzle, traditional Sausages, Sauerkraut, Swiss Rösti, Gugelhupf, Berliner or Buchteln served with warm Vanilla Sauce.

On Monday Chef Jun Xiao and Chef Hitesh Kalra will walk you through the land of the Buddhas and Maharajas. Specialties include Chinese Chili Beef, Daal Salad, stir-fried Egg Noodles, Biryani or Tandoori Chicken Wings. The journey finishes with Gulab Jamun, Jalebi, Rasgulla or Honey Cake.

Tuesday is a walk through the enjoyable Mediterranean cuisine. This journey is a delightful mixture of dishes such as a traditional Seafood Bisque, Saltimbocca of Beef, roasted Lamb Rack, Risotto Milanese, Moussaka and Turkey Piccata, ending the rich multi-ethnic feast with a Limoncello Tart, Crème Caramel, Tiramisu or a tempting Mille Feuille.

On Wednesday all the Chefs come together offering guests a window to the world with tempting dishes from four continents, such as Maki Rolls, Mexican Taco Station or an authentic Vitello Tonnato, Chicken Cacciatore, Crispy Duck and Beef Medallions from the Live Cooking Station. Desserts include Tarte Tatin, Panna Cotta, American Chocolate Cheese Cake, Tartufo and Caramel Éclairs.

On Thursday Chef George Najm transports the guests to the enchanted world of the 1001 Night with an assortment of traditional Middle Eastern dishes that are overflowing with flavors in the a selection of cold and hot Mezzah, Baba Ganoush, Tabbouleh and Fattoush. For the main course guests will find traditionally cooked Lamb, Dolma and Shawarma. The 1001 Night also includes a Belly Dance Show.

Every Friday is Surf & Turf Night. Guests will be delighted with the best recipes which are inspired by elements of the land and sea. The Chefs bring together a selection of fresh Seafood, pink roasted Prime Beef, roasted Lamb and assorted Grilled Fish. Desserts include American Cheese Cake, Scone Cake with Marmalade and the famous Lemon Meringue Pie.

On Saturday Chef Saul Andrade takes the guests through the South Western Europe to discover the flavor of Portuguese and Spanish food. Dishes include Gazpacho, traditional Paella, Chicken Piri-piri Style, Beef A Portuguesa, Crema Catalana, Brigadeiro and Poires Hélène.

Themed Nights start every day at 7:00pm up to 10:30pm. The price is AED 205 per person for food only and drinks can be ordered from the beverage menu.
