Dubai, United Arab Emirates; October 12, 2014- Panasonic Marketing Middle East & Africa (PMMAF) today unveiled ET-D75LE90, the world’s first ultra-short throw lens for 3-chip DLP projectors that delivers an amazing 0.36:1 throw ratio. This will open up more application to their, already well known, PT-DZ21K and PT-DZ13K, their high brightness solution to the professional AV market. Due to the compact size and low Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), PT-DZ21K and PT-DZ13K has widely grown in the market since its release and is expected to go farther by providing new solution such as newly introduced ET-D75LE90. The ET-D75LE90, the world’s shortest throw lens for 3 Chip DLP, enables large screen projection in small places while also promoting effective space utilization. It’s unique ability to maximize tight spaces yet still retain super-high brightness makes it ideal for a variety of large venues, such as auditoriums and museums. Panasonic drew on the proprietary aspheric lens technology that it currently uses in its high-end interchangeable lens camera to develop this groundbreaking ultra-short throw lens. Furthermore, the lens can be easily installed by simply exchanging lenses to suit different need in various places. In addition to that, this ultra-short throw lens can also foster flexibility through rear-projection and enable smooth projection without casting shadows onto the screen or blinding the presenter in front of the projection. Takuya Haruta, Sales and Marketing Manager, System Solutions Department, Panasonic Marketing Middle East & Africa said, “Panasonic has already demonstrated success in conventional projection with truly incredible products and the ultra-short throw lens is our latest addition. It gives our customers the ability to make the most out of a limited area by enabling high-quality large-screen projection at a throw distance of just five feet”. Also they have unveiled the PT-RZ670 Series of projectors, which features 20,000 hours of working life without lamp replacement and provides for flexible, every-angle installation. Both models in the series feature 6500lm of brightness and were developed by Panasonic to meet the critical demands of long-term operations in industries like exhibitions, museums and signage. Visitors can experience the new products at Panasonic booth A 3-5 in Hall 3 of Dubai World Trade Centre from October 12-16, 2014.
