Tadweer Wins Gong at Middle East Municipalities Excellence Awards 2014

Abu Dhabi-UAE: 12 October, 2014 - The Center of Waste Management - Abu Dhabi (Tadweer) has emerged a winner at the Middle East Municipalities Excellence Awards 2014 for promoting excellent leadership practices through leveraging cutting-edge technology. The prestigious award recognizes Tadweer’s outstanding achievements in facilitating the seamless migration of conventional government services to an electronic and smart platform. 

Eng. Ahmed Suwaidi, Senior Projects Officer at Tadweer, received the award at a grand ceremony held on the sidelines of the 4th GCC Municipalities and Smart Cities Conference in Dubai. 

Initiated by the Middle East Excellence Institute, the Middle East Municipalities Excellence Awards represent the highest honor that a municipal authority in the region can receive. The recognition symbolizes the achievements of a developmental municipality that is committed to working with citizens and groups within the community, while setting international standards in excellence to remain globally competitive.
