One of JLT’s trendiest hotspots, Náis Italian Kitchen has introduced its new menu for the season. Bursting with authentic favourites from the Piedmont region - reflective of the owner’s northern Italian roots - each has its own unique twist to give diners a truly memorable culinary experience. Located in the very north western tip of Italy, Piedmont produces a diverse range of ingredients due to its mountain forests, river basins and hillside vegetable gardens. The region’s cuisine is famous for its vast variety of antipasti - and as one might expect this is one of Náis Italian Kitchen’s specialities. The difference lies in their young and talented culinary team: Head Chef Stefano Bertero, Sous Chef Vijay Pooswamy and Lorenzo Fiumalbi, a Junior Sous Chef. Chef Bertero uses his creativity to experiment with ingredients, flavours and textures to produce traditional and signature dishes that carry a modern variation of traditional Piedmontese cuisine. For example, the restaurant’s tajarin handmade pasta uses arugula as the base for its pesto instead of the traditional basil, because of its equally delicate yet more pungent quality. And their caprese is created using confit tomatoes which are oven baked with a citrus dressing, accentuating the flavour. The new menu is packed with variety, and includes beautifully fresh salads, handmade pasta, home baked pizzas and paninis - as well as a choice of indulgent desserts. All are prepared using fresh and authentic ingredients.
