Dubai- UAE- 31 March 2014: Following the vision of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai to achieve a 'Green Economy for Sustainable Development'; and UAE 2021 vision of having a sustainable environment. SamTech Middle East has introduced “Road to Sustainability” Program in partnership with Dubai Chamber Sustainability Network and Dubai Internet City Authority “Community Service Division”. This program aims to raise awareness on Corporate Social Responsibility and its importance amongst SME businesses.. The program will start early April 2014, and 4 sessions on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) will be conducted. The sessions will focus on the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and its impact on business performance and reputation. The sessions will also focus on the 4 pillars of CSR i.e workplace, marketplace, environment and community and implementation in these areas. Additionally, it will discuss the UAE’s position regarding sustainability and why it is important for companies to link CSR and Sustainability to their strategic business goals. Mr. Samir I.
