Abu Dhabi-UAE: 19 March 2014 - Tawazun Holding, a strategic investment firm devoted to the development of the UAE’s industrial sector with a focus on the defense sector, has announced its participation in the International Exhibition for Security and National Resilience (ISNR Abu Dhabi 2014) as a strategic partner. Tawazun’s stand at the event will feature latest products by its group companies, including Caracal International, Caracal Light Ammunition, Tawazun Industrial Park, Rabdan Academy, Tawazun Safety, Security & Disaster Management City (Jaheziya), Nimr Automotive, and Abu Dhabi Autonomous Systems Investment (ADASI). Set to run from April 1 - 3 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition (ADNEC) and organised by the UAE Ministry of Interior and Reed Exhibitions Middle East, ISNR Abu Dhabi 2014 seeks to support national and international efforts in the areas of homeland security, fire and emergency response, disaster prevention and public safety. The event, which will cover over 27,000 sqm of exhibition space, is expected to draw 400 global exhibitors and 15,000 experts and decision-makers in homeland security and emergency response from across the public and private sector. The current edition of ISNR will feature a special Government Buyer’s Hub, where decision-makers from the UAE’s government agencies can meet security industry leaders, network with exhibitors and obtain tailor-made solutions for their respective safety and security needs, all in one place. The event’s three components include Homeland Security and National Resilience, Critical Infrastructure Security and Information Security. ISNR Abu Dhabi 2014 will also include two co-located events: Fire Emergency Middle East (FEM) and Occupational Safety and Health Middle East (OSHM). In 2012, ISNR drew 178 companies from 24 countries and showcased a wide range of solutions and technologies on border and transport security, intelligence and threat assessment, critical infrastructure protection, counterterrorism and resilience. The exhibition attracted 9,177 attendees, 12 Hosted Buyers, 77 official delegations from 13 countries, and 144 media professionals.
