Securitas Vision unveiled; new technology takes security to new levels of excellence

Securitas, the global knowledge leader in security services, has announced the launch of Securitas Vision, a secure and scalable web-based site security management application that provides innovation, accountability and efficiency which takes security to new levels of excellence.

The application, which can be deployed at a single property or across the entire organization, combines incident management, tour verification, task scheduling and incident alert notification into one easy-to-use application to help enhance the overall security in the premises.

Securitas Vision aims to allow users to feel confident and secure about their security and comes with robust features which saves time and confirms compliance of the security operations, policies, procedures and best practices, as well as improves communication and information sharing.

Securitas Vision will be showcased at the ASIS 5th Middle East Security Conference & Exhibition 2014 which will be held at the Events Centre in the InterContinental Festival City, Dubai between February 16 and 18, 2014.

With mobile adaptability, the Securitas Vision offers incident reports with pictures, daily activity reports and work order requests which can be immediately directed to appropriate departments. Pass-down information, changes to post orders and daily duties can also be tracked easily to document the security process.

Coming with a centralized security management option, Securitas Vision provides post orders and online management as well as automatic modification flexibility based on the threat level or the incident, and latest alert notification modules which can be e-mailed or sent by text message to affected parties/ individuals and other advanced features.

The application, which has both online and offline capabilities for Android handsets, is capable of scanning pre-configured bar codes, and records incomplete locations and tasks. A pop-up guide prompts the security officer with the right action to take based on what they encounter while on patrol.
