Xperia Transfer Mobile is a proprietary Sony Application that allows the mobile transfer of precious data and content from any old smartphone device to any new Xperia smartphone in a few moments. When transferring from IOS devices onto an Xperia smartphone from Sony all that is required is the installation of the Xperia Transfer App on the Xperia Device. Simple and direct instructions will ask you to pair the new device with the old via the transfer cable, which will start the seamless transfer of data and content. The transfer though the original PC companion* software is still possible. Android smartphone users can transfer data and content by downloading the Sony Mobile Transfer app from Google Play and pairing their old device and new Xperia smartphone through NFC if available. *Transfers from non-Android devices are also supported by PC Companion (PC) and Sony Bridge for Mac (Mac). Both PC Companion and Sony Bridge can be downloaded for free or as soon as you connect your Xperia smartphone onto your computer.
