Dubai, UAE; January 21, 2014: For all the talented children and their proud parents out there, KidZania®, the award-winning children's edutainment centre, is offering them a unique opportunity to shine and discover the artist within. Following the spectacular success of the first season of KidZania® SuperstarZ, providing little ones the platform to showcase dancing, acting, singing, and instrumental performances, the children's mini-city is hosting the auditions for the second edition, daily, from 11am to 8pm, until February 5, 2014. The talent hunt will include two age groups: 5 to 8 years and 9 to 16 years old. Following the quarter- and semi-finals, a dazzling grand finale will be held at Dubai Ice Rink on February 28, and will be hosted by ‘King of UAE Comedy,' Nitin Mirani, and judged by famous choreographer, entertainer, singer, and artistic director, Shiamak Davar. Grand prize winners from both age categories will win a trip to Malaysia, including accommodation at The Royale Chulan Damansara, for a family of four, with an exclusive visit to KidZania® Kuala Lumpur. All grand finale winners will receive vouchers for music instruments from Popular Music Institute, talent mentoring programmes from Bareface entertainment, and exclusive tickets from SEGA Republic, Reel Cinemas, Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, Dubai Ice Rink, along with one-year access to KidZania® including the opportunity for a birthday celebration bash. Organised in association with Puck and Barni, KidZania® SuperstarZ will also reward every participant with a selection of prizes from by Babyshop, flikflak by Swatch, Chili's, Steak ‘n' Shake and Macaroni Grill. Located on level 2 of The Dubai Mall, KidZania® lends wings to the dreams of the little ones, as they enact over 80 roles including that of pilots, doctors, healthcare professionals, civil defence personnel, police officers, reporters, photographers, engineers, fashion designers, and artists, among others. KidZania® provides a safe, unique and very realistic educational environment that allows kids to do what comes naturally to them: role-playing by mimicking traditionally ‘adult' activities. It features offices, a university, fire station, race track, radio station, pizzeria, hospital, bank, theatre, among others, all scaled down to a smaller, child-friendly size. Children dress up in real-life uniforms and perform realistic professional tasks in a fun and meaningful way.
