It has been a season of re-invention and exploration and with Winter finally making its way to the UAE, the Splash wardrobe reflects prominent shades of classy, classic and sexy. Showcasing an interesting mix of dramatic atmosphere and masculine style, unique hero pieces like the tuxedo, sequin dress, a short evening jacket, leather pants or a leather jacket were showcased in luxurious fabrics like wool, silk, leather or velvet. Strong silhouettes and sleek tailoring highlighted the looks and in dark hue shades of black, red, gold, royal blue, purple and emerald bringing in the much needed warmth for the season. Gold embellishments, military detailing, sheer layering along with leather trims were integral highlights adding edginess to the looks. Oversized jackets and tops in drop shoulder or boxy cuts were teamed with longer length skirts and dresses in a colour palate of muted shades. Timeless pieces which are rich but not extravagant find favor with the urban fashion aficionado.
